Smooth and silky with notes of spiced sweets, preserved dark fruits, and honey with a light pop of fresh red berry.
The brand new Impexcor-Busanze coffee washing station serves about 2,000 farmers in Nyaruguru, an area in Rwanda’s Southern Province. Producers harvest their own coffee and then deliver the ripe cherry to the wet mill to be bulked into community day lots to be washed, and dried on raised beds. This specific lot represents a number of producers who contribute to the washing station, and placed 7th in Cup of Excellence, which is exciting since this is the mill’s first harvest season! Now, with the advent of the new wet-mill, the community’s farmers have access to a nearby washing station, which allows for this specific area’s coffee to be kept separate, and ultimately celebrated for quality.
