Rachelle lives in Berkeley, CA and is a talented quilter. Lonely Hunter: A visit to the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians

In honor of our 2018 Lonely Hunter blend, Revelator Coffee visited the Carson McCullers Center for Writers and Musicians in Columbus, GA. The center operates a museum in Carson McCullers' childhood home, presents educational and cultural programs for the community, maintains an ever-growing archive of materials related to Carson's life and work, and offers fellowships for writers and composers who live for periods of time at the Center. Director Nick Norwood gave us a tour and spoke to us about Carson’s life and legacy.

"I saw your garage light was on": A conversation with Patrick deAngelis

Patrick DeAngelis is the new curator of local art at our Octane Westside location. Patrick has an MFA in painting from the New York Academy of Art and has been showing art in Atlanta for the past 10 years. His current show, “I saw your garage light was on,” kicks off an ongoing ‘pass the torch’ curatorial system, in which the featured artist will select the next artist to show. “I saw your garage light was on” is on display at Octane Westside through January 15.
