Our Philosophy

Revelator believes in cultivating meaningful experiences.

We design our shops to embody this belief. They are bright and open, with stay-awhile appeal.

We train our staff to put service first. They are committed to a culture of Southern hospitality.

We work with partners to root ourselves in the communities where we operate. Each shop features food and goods from local purveyors that complement our coffee.

We choose coffees to fit a simple, seasonal menu, and roast them to celebrate each coffee’s unique character.

Revelator is, and will always be, a work in progress. We work hard to get every detail right for our customers, and sometimes we succeed. The rest of the time, we remind ourselves that the trying is itself a source of meaning – and then we get back to work.


Our shop menu is fluid and intentional. Our offerings are simple. We embrace change and rotate fresh coffees as the seasons change. We showcase these coffees on a few brew methods and use simple, rustic ingredients. No frills, no fuss.

Our coffee is sourced based on knowledge and experience. We value skill, patience, and intention in our producers, and know the importance of partnership. We source seasonally, and choose expressive coffees that reveal variety and region.
